INGESTED "Surpassing The Boundaries Of Human Suffering" - Review.

Photobucket

To be honest, I'm the LAST person that should be reviewing this album. Just looking at the bio and seeing the quote "more technical than previously captured with blastbeats exceeding 280bpm and the vocal attack pushed to new boundaries of guttural bliss" makes me want to not even listen to this. "Skinned And Fucked" gets this started. I think I would rather be in church, or at the dentist, than listen to this. The drums are triggered to the point that it sounds like a drum machine, and I think it is. Who fucking knows with this stuff to be honest. There are a lot of those slam part breakdowns coupled with the double bass type writer drums. The vocals are very guttural. When the type writer gets fast I start laughing my ass off. "Contorted Perception" is next AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA the typewriter double bass might be funnier than "Fletch" or Dave Chappele show. ARE THESE GUYS SERIOUS? Ok look, every song on here sounds the same. Over and over again. Typewriter, oh wait sometimes sprinkler drums. Some of the other song titles "Pre-released Foetal Mush", "Intercranial Semen Injection", and "Anal Evisceration" are better than the actual songs themselves. These guys titles make Gravehill titles look like Absu or King Crimson. The high pitch guitar pinch harmonics are also hilarious. This band is from the UK and has members of Annotations of an Autopsy. Well shit! Thanks for including that! That makes me want to buy this now. hahahahahaha. I never heard of that band and maybe that is why Ingested got signed to Candlelight? Not sure. If you like new school, digital production, "HERBER-SKERBER" slam metal, than you will jerk of to this.
