These veteran Aussie metal of deathsters return with "Nailed". Quite a few of you maniacs will remember that Destruktor had classic split albums with Nunslaughter and Bestial Mockery! True "METAL OF DEATH"! They also did a couple of great EPs and here we have the debut full length. Well they get this massacre started with the double bass terror drum intro of "Spawning The Immortal". Classic evil riff with the blasting banger madness! The break riff is also quite evil and fits the dark vibe of the song. True Australian battle metal! Makes you want to grab a spiked bat and a chainsaw and just kill everything that lives around you. The classic Aussie war metal type riff hits the middle until it goes back and forth with the break riff! "Embrace The Fire" is next with it's slow/evil riff intro, KILLER! The the drums come in with a war march. The song then goes heavy mid paced banger with an acoustic part before blasting away. FUCKING SICK! The song blasts away with manic speed until the end double bass ending, that is almost as fast! haha. "The Epitome" starts off with a classic black thrash riff and takes off with the blasts again, into the double bass break. The middle is nice and mid paced banger with some great evil melodies to it. Then it blasts off again with an even faster part to end it. HOLY FUCK! "Inspiration Suicide" is more of a mid/fast banger with a very old school fast beat, into a great one/two faster beat. There is a great slow passage here to headbang to. Then it takes off again with the evil blasting. "Violence Unseen" has the killer guitar intro riff into fast banging/blasting madness. The title track has a killer drum roll intro part that blasts away with a some great riffs. "Forwards We March" has an awesome skank type intro part that blasts off with the same killer riffs, it's crazy how many riffs these guys got on here that are great. And when I say blast away again, the riffs sound different and have their own identity. "Meccademon" starts off with the double bass/mid paced banger style that gets a bit slow then blasts off with the darkness again. "Endless Reign Of Terror" has one of my favorite riffs to start, total dark and evil, even more so that any of the others, that then blasts off again. And the double bass part next fits perfect for the carnage left behind in it's wake. This is my top song on here! "After Death Murmors" ends the album with the same attack as the other songs. This one starts off mid paced and then takes off with blasting fury. Overall, the production is perfect for the vibe. Destruktor have the Metal Of Death down! Total black thrashing brilliance! Fans of all Aussie War Metal bands (YOU KNOW WHO THEY ARE!) And to top it all off, classic artwork from the master Mark Riddick. GET THIS! ESSENTIAL! Another great release by Hell's Headbangers!
