VICTIMIZER "Resurrected Abominations" - Review.

Photobucket

This EP starts off with a killer sample from the Tarantino classic "Reservoir Dogs". These Danish maniacs play some wicked old school speed/thrash metal. "Worthy Of Hell" starts it off. Very much like early Venom/old Slayer, mixed with the classic Canadian thrash/speed vibe. The production on here is crisper than usual Victimizer releases, but the riffs razor through better this time. "Reap The Nuclear Whirlwind comes next and has a killer, almost crossover 80s type riff that has an evil tinge to it and then blasts off, then into a killer thrash riff. I wish this kind of speed metal/ thrash was as popular as the happy crap that is these days. Another killer "Dogs" sample into the title track. Total mid paced banger in the black thrash style. "Lucifer's Domain" starts off with a killer drum/guitar interplay, with double bass, that then gets the fast thrash banging going. Once the stop break comes in, an evil/fast riff comes in. They remind me of Infernal Majesty on this part. "E-37101" shreds with a total Razor thrash vibe. Fucking killer! Some of the parts with the guitar solos are boring, and a few times the song might drag a little. But overall a good fucking release! Their last album "The Final Assault" was all over the place and even strange at times, which turned a few off. But if this is any indication, they have focused on their attack and are ready to destroy. True speed/thrash madness! And yes, yet another gem on Hell's Headbangers.
